A spectator chooses a card that is left on the table face down, unable to be seen by both the spectator and the public. The magician says he knows which of the cards is missing. All the magician should do is snap his fingers to make them "talk." The fingers will snap and, as if by magic, one of the cards will magically appear face down in the middle of the deck. This process is repeated three times and the ace, two and three of the same suit appear. However, a problem arises, the four is not revealed when it is called, so the magician changes the mouth letter and clicks his fingers several more times. The deck is turned and now the opportunity is given to snap the fingers of the viewer and this time all five cards are ordered to the king. Finally, the card that was initially selected is shown and it is the four which completes the ladder.
